Front-end Editing.

Change the words, colours and photos on your website by clicking on them, right on the page. No back end to learn, no training manual, and no waiting for us to make a small change.

What is front-end editing?

The front end is the website your visitors see. Front-end editing means you change it there, on the page itself, instead of in a back end full of menus and boxes. Sign in, switch Edit on, and the page you are looking at becomes the editor.

Words

Click any text and type. Enter saves.

Colour

Your brand colours, one click away.

Photos

Replace a photo and frame it to fit.

Layout

Nudge, resize and layer photos.

Notes

Pin a note for us on the exact spot.

Twenty seconds, start to finish.

A shop owner switches Editing mode on, changes the headline for a sale, swaps the main photo and leaves us a note. The website in the video is made up; the editor is the real one.

  1. Switch Edit on.
  2. Click the words and type.
  3. Pick a brand colour.
  4. Replace a photo and frame it.
  5. Pin a note for us.

Why not the back end?

Most website back ends look like the cockpit of a plane. People avoid them, so small changes wait weeks for a designer. On the page you can see exactly what you are changing, and what you see while you edit is what your customers will see.

No manual

If you can click and type, you can edit.

Undo

Every word change can be taken back.

On brand

Only your own colours and fonts.

Private

Visitors never see the editing tools.

Told

Every note lands in our inbox.

Your website, still yours.

We design the website and build the editor into it, so the layout stays as designed and the day-to-day changes stay with you. Leocé Luxury Couture and Delapse Apparel already run their sites this way.

Gereelde vrae.

Which websites can have it?

Websites we design and build in WordPress and Elementor. It is part of the private HQ we build into your site, and it appears only once you sign in.

Can I break my website?

You change the words, colours and photos; the layout and the code stay ours. A word change can be undone, a moved photo can go back to the original design, and the colours are your own brand colours.

Do my visitors see the editing tools?

No. Visitors see your website and nothing else. The editing bar only loads for someone signed in to your HQ.

What if I want a change I cannot make myself?

Pin a note on the spot and type what you need. The note lands in our inbox with the page it belongs to, so nobody has to describe where on the site they mean.

Who can edit?

Anyone you give a login. Each person signs in with their own email address.

Can you add it to the website I have now?

If it runs on WordPress and Elementor, usually yes. Send us the address and we will tell you what it takes.
